Manitou Speed control
In combination with the Varidrive system, the travel speed can be selected and maintained at the touch of a button. The operator no longer has to keep his foot on the pedal, the machine takes over.
When using a hydraulically driven attachment or when traveling on the road, it is convenient to be able to lock the travel speed at a certain rate without additional operator intervention.
Comfort is key when the operator is performing a repetitive or continuous task. By taking over as many functions as possible from the machine, the operator will be more comfortable and can focus on steering and his environment. The cruise control function will maintain the travel speed selected by the operator. Stopping or reducing the engine speed will override this function.
