Measurement methodology
The MANITOU Group became the first material handling equipment manufacturer to publish fuel consumption data, obtained from field tests based on UTAC-approved standards EP-695 and EP-1519. The protocol EP-695 now serves as the cornerstone for the European standard EN16796-4 (only for telescopic machines).
Our fuel calculator estimates your duty cycles (handling/loading/idling/driving) based on our real-life measurements. If you compare machines from different manufacturers, ensure that all measurements are based on the EN16796-4 standard to enable a valid comparison.
