What is Eco fashion?
Manitou teams have developed numerous devices to improve the profitability of their machines. For MLT agricultural telescopic handlers, several innovations have recently made it possible to reduce fuel consumption, engine noise and pollutant emissions. These innovative systems are part of Manitou's overall strategy to reduce the TCO of material handling equipment and its impact on the environment.
Eco fashion is one of these innovations. It meets the needs of farmers who, during their intensive loading work, see the engine speed of telescopic handlers rise sharply - an increase that generates significant fuel consumption, noise and pollutant emissions.
How does the device work?
Eco mode automatically reduces the engine speed when the machine's speed is stabilised at high rpm. The hydrostatic transmission then compensates for the reduction in engine speed to maintain the same speed, which limits fuel consumption, engine noise and pollutant emissions.
