What is the Automatic Grease System (AGS)?

Like all hydraulic machines, your Manitou agricultural telescopic handler must be regularly maintained. Preventive maintenance includes lubrication operations. These operations can be long and complex, bringing your machine to a standstill and wasting time on your production. In addition, some lubrication points are often difficult to access.

The automatic greasing system has been designed to eliminate the need for manual greasing. It simplifies the maintenance of your telescopic handler by automatically greasing the chassis or the chassis and boom head assembly (depending on the model). With AGS, the important components of the machine (cylinders, axles, etc.) are also optimally lubricated.

How does the system work?

To operate, the AGS is equipped with a low-grease alarm, an empty tank alarm and a pressure relief valve. When it detects a deficiency, it activates the automatic greasing system. This means you no longer have to take care of this task yourself, and can confidently delegate it to the device. Intelligent, the AGS is able to apply the right amount of grease in the right place at the right time.
