Manitou JSM autopower
The JSM Autopower adjusts automatically the engine rpm following the hydraulic power demand from the operator hand on the JSM (Joystick Switch & Move).
This function is available on Manitou hydrostatic Ag telehandlers.
Customer challenge
On Hydrostatic & Continuous Variation transmissions, the throttle pedal acts simultaneously on both hydraulic movement speed and machine translation speed.
This ""Double effect"" can be uncomfortable/unproductive when both high hydraulic speed and slow translation speed are expected.
